What is Syro Festival?
Syro Festival is the “Days in the Dioceses” event organized by the SyroMalabar Youth Movement Combined Mission. In the week that precedes WYD Lisbon 2023, various dioceses in Portugal invite WYD participants to explore their diocese. We will spend time in the Leiria-Fatima Diocese with programs and activities planned at Minde and Leiria, as well as a pilgrimage to Fatima and more.
What is World Youth Day?
World Youth Day (WYD) is the gathering of young people from all over the world with the Pope. It is also a pilgrimage, a celebration of youth, an expression of the universal Church and an intense moment of evangelization for the youth world. Although its Catholic identity is evident, WYD opens its doors to everyone, no matter how close to or distant from the Church they are.
