“Eternal Rest grant unto them O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.”
Dealing with the loss of a loved one is difficult. We are here to ease the pain of these difficult times and to help through the process of planning the funeral Mass. Oftentimes, the funeral home will call the Parish Office on your behalf to arrange a date and time for the funeral Mass. Then, one of the church Ministers will arrange a time to meet with you to help plan the funeral liturgy, offering choices for music selections and scripture readings that you might wish to include. The Bereavement Minister will be there for you on the day of the funeral to help in any way needed.
If you are sick, homebound, or in the hospital and would like to receive the Eucharist, please call the Parish Office at +1-708-544-7250. One of our Pastors would be glad to visit with you, bring you Communion, and pray with you.
