“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” -2 Timothy 3:16-17

We cannot love God and live a holy life without sound doctrine because we need to know who God is and how He works in our lives and through our lives. To love a person, we need to know well the person we love, and it is true of loving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Church. Therefore, just having Jesus is not enough but we need to know who He is and what he means to me and what he is expecting from me and what the scripture means. Recognizing this grave responsibility of increasing our faith in Jesus, to deepen our love of Jesus and His Church, and to put that love and faith into action through Christian ministry, we have introduced a Theology course for our parish community.
