Catholic Youth Movement or CYM is a youth organization under the Syro-Malabar Church, which mainly targets youth who are born and brought up in Kerala, India. The mission of CYM is to unite all youth, especially young adults and young families, as one in holiness to serve the worldwide church and to boost fervor in our community. CYM gives importance to the Malayali culture of Kerala, while also upholding Catholic traditions. CYM believes that coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, and working together is success. All youth between the ages of 15 – 35 are eligible for membership. CYM meets once a month and activities include planning spiritual and social events, such as the Holy Hill Pilgrimage, St. Thomas Perunnal, Annual Church picnic, Onam celebrations, Christmas decorations, fundraisers, and more!
